A Diamond Pendant by Harry Winston

It was all about diamonds this time at Christie’s and Sotheby’s jewelry auction events on the 22nd and 23rd of April (respectively).

Christie’s produced a few million-dollar sales including a diamond pendant by Harry Winston that was sold for $986,500 including buyer’s premium. See below:

The highest price was paid for a diamond ring ($4,002,500) It is set with a pear-shaped diamond, weighing approximately 30.02 carats and mounted in 18k rose gold and platinum. Pictured below.

At Sotheby’s, the diamond necklace below demanded the most ($698,500)

    Obviously everyone strives to purchase as large a diamond kitty as possible. Remember, a large diamond is not always a beautiful diamond. Make sure you haven't compromised too much on the other 3C's before selecting your diamond.
