Deep Flight Super Falcon Submersible

Hawkes Ocean Technologies has a new model of their “flying” submersibles, called the Deep Flight Super Falcon, which is according to CNN will retail for $1.3 million. It is one of the most agile underwater vehicles in terms of maneuverability and is capable of “flying” underwater at 6 knots. The first buyer is Tom Perkins of the VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and the second model is made for Graham Hawkes’s personal use. The commercial launch of the Super Falcon is Fall 2009.
