ReadyToFix.com listed a McLaren F1 GTR for sale. According to their website, the 1996 model of this converted race car was formerly a BMW factory sponsored Motorsport race car driven by Nelson Piquet. It is one of the four McLaren F1 GTR’s converted to be operated on the street. For your reference, chassis number is 16R. Price is not listed, the vendor is accepting offers.

According to SuperCars.net, McLaren stopped production after seven prototypes, including 64 road cars, 5 special F1 LMs , three F1 GTs and 28 F1 GTR road cars. This car is supposed to be one of the 28 GTRs made and one of the 4 which was converted to be road legal.

I am not sure, why this car is not on the auction block. It is unique and sought after enough to demand great attention. Please check with the vendor for more details.
