A month ago, we wrote about the upcoming McLaren F1 auction to be held on Oct 29 by RM Auctions in association with Sotheby’s. Partial, unconfirmed results are in through Ultimatecarpage.com

Both Sotheby’s and RM Auctions removed the auction details from their websites. I assume only for the time being until they record the results. Once we have confirmed information from either of them, we’ll update this post.
Lamborghini Las Vegas listed a 2005 Maserati Roadster MC12 on eBay. Currently it is tracking at $1.3M with reserve price not yet met. We previously wrote about a recent sale in 2006 of a year 2004 MC12 model, which went for little over $1M. There were only 50 built of this car in 2004 and 2005. According to the auction description: “Maserati only produced 25 vehicles in 2004, all of which, to our understanding, were used for track purposes only, and 25 vehicles were then produced in 2005 for personal sale and use. Only 7 to our findings have been federalized for the United States.”

Lamborghini Houston listed a 2008 Reventon for sale. This is the second currently for-sale Reventon we know about in the US - one in Los Gatos, CA and this one in Houston, TX. Most likely they will not disclose the list price and the eventual selling price, but I will ask anyway. The list price of a new Reventon is 1 million EURO before tax, but because most of them are pre-sold prior to rolling out from the production facility and due to the limited quantity made (20), the private party list price can be significantly higher.
