Kansas City Woman Wins Big Again
Sheila Anderson of Kansas City just recently started playing Club Keno. For the past month, she has been playing the same 10-spot.
“It’s about time. It has been a long time coming,” said Anderson after she won $1,300. “It just happened to be the 10-spot I played today, so, yay!”
Anderson, who is new to Club Keno, isn’t new to winning. She won $169,000 playing Show Me Cash on Dec. 17, 2012.
“I am a repeat offender, as they say,” she jokes.
Anderson purchased her Club Keno ticket at the same QuikTrip where she bought her Show Me Cash ticket in 2012: 8733 E. 63rd St., in Raytown.
But what is she planning to do with her win this time?
“I am paying bills. Thank you, Jesus, all day long,” said Anderson. “When I won the Show Me Cash jackpot, I paid my tithes first and then paid my house and car off. I utilized that very well.”
To play Club Keno, players can choose how many different numbers (also called “spots”) they want to play from 1 to 10. Twenty numbers from a field of one to 80 are chosen in a computerized random Club Keno drawing held every four minutes.
