Inspired by a Norwegian puppet movie about a bicycle repairman who invents the world’s greatest sports car, Christian von Koenigsegg set out to design one of his own. The result is the street-legal Koeningsegg CCX with the price tag of 669,000 euros ($1,050,000) It’s super light, has 806 horsepower at 6,900 rpm and does great on mileage, even though the specs below are quite stunning:

Acceleration: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mp/h) 3.0 seconds
0-200 km/h 9.05 sec, 0-200-0 km/h 13.85 sec
Top Speed: 400+ km/h (250+ mph) (estimated)
Braking distance: 32m (100-0 km/h)
Lateral G-force: 1.5 G
Fuel consumption: Highway travel: 13 l/100km, Combined: 17 l/100km
Weight-to-power ratio: 1.44 kg/hp
Weight distribution: 45% front, 55% rear

Cd. 0,36 Frontal area 1.867 m2
Total Downforce at 250 km/h: 350 kg
Flat underside of chassis. Venturi tunnels at rear of chassis/body

According to The New York Times, approximately 35 of them are produced annually and the car is distributed through only 2 dealers in the US (Universal Autosport, not sure about the other one)

Talking about biofuel, the CCX-R edition, produces 1004bhp when it’s running on ethanol and cost about 1.5 million euros (only 6 were built)
